We already know that in ancient times the turtle's image was used to represent the zodiac.

There is a hermetic principle that states: "As above so below." If there is a zodiac above with twelve constellations, likewise here below is the human zodiac with twelve pairs of cranial nerves.

One of the classic symbols that represents the defect of laziness is the turtle. Laziness is one of the defects that we give less importance to, however, it is one of the ones that most hinders us in the attempt for inner transformation, and that is that not only does physical laziness exist, there is also mental laziness, so we need study this defect not only in its simplest form or aspect but also in its most subtle forms, for example negligence and defeatism, which is not wanting to choose and deliver ourselves directly into the arms of failure, so if one day we dream of a turtle they will be indicating spiritual slowness.

Another is the case of the tortoise in the aspect of teachings, since from all ancient cultures, whether through their inscriptions in codices or embodied in sacred temples, or in myths and legends, the tortoise is related to life, longevity, patience, knowledge of the universe and the constellations, as they mention that their shell represents the celestial vault, the universe or the twelve constellations that govern us.

Among the Mayans, for example, they had the turtle represented in the temple of the turtles in Uxmal. In Honduras there is a very well stylized turtle in stone, they represented the zodiac through the turtle with its twelve constellations that, by the way, have a certain influence on the human being.
