Why can esotericism seem illogical to the sensual mind?

The sensual mind elaborates its concepts, with the data provided by the 5 senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch and with these concepts it forms its reasoning. This mind helps us to memorize, the address where we live, telephone numbers, prayers, the date we were born, the day the house rent has to be paid, etc., but it cannot know anything about what is real, about the mysteries of life and death, about the truth, about God, about soul and spirit, etc., well, where could such a mind get information, if its only source of nutrition is the data provided by the senses? Obviously, you don't have the capacity to know what’s real.

To many intellectuals, totally caught up in the external senses, bottled up within the concepts of the sensual mind, esoteric studies seem crazy to them, and in a way they are right, how could the sensual mind accept something that is not sensual?

If the data of the senses serve as a secret source for all the functionalisms of the sensual mind, it is obvious that the latter must originate sensual concepts.
