What internal element helps us transform impressions?

Answer from the V.M. Samael Aun Weor.

The worst thing in life is to forget yourself. So it is necessary to transform the impressions, and that is only possible by INTERPOSING between the various vibrations of the external world and the mind, the Consciousness itself. When one interposes that which is called CONSCIOUSNESS between the impressions and the mind, it is obvious that the impressions are transformed into FORCES AND POWERS OF A SUPERIOR ORDER.

…But if one does not transform the impressions, they become new psychic aggregates, new I's.

So we must transform impressions through Consciousness. It is very easy to interpose the Consciousness between the mind and the impressions, between the impressions and the mind.

To receive the impressions with the Consciousness and not with the mind, it is only necessary NOT TO FORGET OURSELVES, in a given instant. If someone at any time is hurting us with the word, we must not forget our own Being, we must not allow the mind to react, we must not allow myself to intervene: self-love, pride, conceit, etc.

In those instants only the Being must be in us; we must be CONCENTRATED IN THE BEING, so that it is the Being, the Superlative Consciousness of the Being, which receives the impressions and digests them correctly. This avoids those horrifying reactions that everyone, one and the other, have in the face of impacts from the outside world. In this way the impressions are completely transformed, and transformed these impressions into superior forces, they develop us wonderfully.

Samael Aun Weor. Excerpt from the lecture: The Word and the P. Magisterium.

Answer from the Magazine "The Wisdom of the Being".

In our day to day we must pay special attention to the words we use, to the emotion and meaning that we imprint on them since they and their consequences will return to us. We have the ego or myself, representation of our psychological defects so developed that almost all of our words are born from our pride, lies, self-sufficiency, envy, greed, ambition, conceit, revenge, resentment, etc. our homes, school, workplace and as a logical consequence, we generate a multitude of problems that come to complicate our existence.

It is common that, by forgetting ourselves, of our own being in a complicated situation, we react in an irascible, violent or mistaken way using the word to hurt, to lie, etc. Therefore, it is essential to transform the impressions that reach us, to react assertively and wisely to them.

To transform impressions, it is necessary to place ourselves in remembrance of the Self, to become aware of our Being, to keep it present at all times so that it is its superlative consciousness that receives and correctly manages the impressions of each scene of life, thus obtaining the benefit of a force in benefit of our vitality and to avoid the formation or strengthening of the selves-defects that would normally react to a given problem, complicating each day of our lives.
