Why is it important to learn to pray consciously during our inner work?

Answer from the V.M. Samael Aun Weor.

Any of those “I’s” that have been previously observed and judged can be reduced to cosmic dust by means of the fiery powers of our own individual, particular Divine Mother.

A specific formula in order to pray to our Inner Divine Mother is not necessary. We must be very natural and simple when we address Her. The child who addresses his/her other never has a special formula. The child utters what comes from his/her heart and that is all.

No “I” is instantaneously dissolved. Our Divine Mother must work and even suffer very much before achieving the annihilation of any “I.”

Make yourselves introversive, direct your prayer within, seeking within your interior your Divine Lady. Thus, with sincere supplications, you shall be able to talk to Her. Beg her to disintegrate the “I” that you have previously observed and judged.

Samael Aun Weor. Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology.

Answer from the Magazine "The Wisdom of the Being".

The Father who is in Secret instructs us in divine wisdom, while his intimate unfolding, the Divine Mother, is in charge of disintegrating our errors. It is clear and definitive that before eliminating a psychological effect, our Divine Mother subjects us to harsh psychological tests, both physical and internal.

Again and again we are led to relive Dantesque experiences associated with the error that we are wanting to eliminate, until we feel a terrible feeling of boredom and regret for having made the same mistake all our life.

You don't know when you are going to die psychologically. It is our Divine Mother who determines when and at what moment we go through a psychological death. The path of the Gnostic initiate is strewn with terrible renunciations.

If we want to die from instant to instant, from moment to moment, as Master Samael told us; you have to go through all kinds of sacrifices and each sacrifice leads to a renunciation. For example, coal, or gas, is sacrificed to have the food cooked.

Likewise, if we want to die internally, it is necessary to sacrifice our human passions, so that something new is born within us, a greater degree of consciousness. But this would not be possible without the help of our inner Divine Mother, who very energetically acts in our internal worlds, eliminating some psychological error previously understood, in our meditation.

We must pray to our Divine Mother Kundalini with great devotion, with great Faith, in a simple way, like a child who cries and asks her mother. So we too, in a humble way, must ask her for the death of some defect, the ungrateful son who forgets her inner Divine Mother, stagnates on the esoteric path, then, he does not advance.
