CONSCIOUSNESS sleeps in our larynx; we are unconscious regarding the word; we need to become fully CONSCIOUS of the WORD.

They say silence is golden. We say there are criminal silences. It is just as bad to speak when one should remain silent as it is to remain silent when one should speak.

There are times when speaking is a crime; there are times when remaining silent is also a crime.

Like a beautiful flower—full of color but lacking fragrance—are the beautiful yet sterile words of one who does not act in accordance with what they say.

But like a beautiful flower—full of color and fragrance—are the beautiful and fruitful words of one who acts in accordance with what they say.

It is urgent to put an end to the mechanical nature of speech; it is necessary to speak with precision, CONSCIOUSLY, and at the right moment. We need to become CONSCIOUS of the Word.

Our words are disharmonious; they are filled with ill-intentioned meanings, and they produce fornications in the world of our mind. Disharmonious words breed great violence within us, and the serious matter is that they breed it in the world of the cosmic mind as well.

When someone insults us, we respond by insulting our fellow beings, and this turns into conflict. We must not condemn anyone with our words, nor judge anyone—and certainly not through gossip, slander, or malicious speech. All of this has caused much pain and bitterness in the world.
