How can we achieve what the Buddha said: "Live in love. Do your work. Put an end to your sorrows"
Answer from the V.M. Samael Aun Weor.
It is URGENT to understand that there is a radical difference between LOVE and things like respect, apprehension, dependency, or fear. It is URGENT to know how to respect our parents and teachers, but not to confuse respect with LOVE. RESPECT and LOVE must be INTIMATELY UNITED, yet we must not confuse one with the other. Parents worry about their children and desire the best for them—a good profession, a good marriage, protection, etc.—and they confuse that apprehension with true LOVE. It is necessary to understand that without TRUE LOVE, it is impossible for parents and teachers to wisely guide new generations, even when intentions are excellent.

"Live in love"—the Buddha gives us this highly significant phrase, which encapsulates a process that might seem trivial but would actually lead us to put an end to the pain and sorrow in which we have been immersed throughout every existence. To live in love means doing our work consciously, living in the moment, and experiencing the essence of the work in every instant of our lives: if you walk, then walk; if you sweep, then sweep—but put your full consciousness into it. It means focusing not on what happens outside, but within; being attentive to everything that occurs when we eat, work, or converse with loved ones, friends, or acquaintances. It involves doing the inner work—digesting the day's impressions and examining what lies within—and, by eliminating everything that does not serve us, we will live in love.
