Where and how to find Wisdom?

If you ignore the excellences of your own house, how do you expect to find other excellences? The treasure of treasures is hidden within you, oh! man, know yourself and you will know the Universe and the Gods.”

Wisdom is not received; we must discover it ourselves. Better one day of wise and reflective life, than a hundred years of thoughtlessness. The first thing is to know oneself, before anything else. The most important thing is to have constant joy. In the regions above the moon everything is like this, eternally clear and serene.

It is urgent to study science, philosophy, art and mysticism, but we should not rely on studies to be faithful to memory because memory is not faithful. We could never speak out against study, against Wisdom, against science, but it is inconsistent to deposit the living jewels of knowledge in the corrupted tomb of memory.
