Zacatecas is a city that activates all the senses. Walking through its zigzagging streets full of history is a viceregal experience, making you feel like a true “silver aristocrat”. It is a luxury that not even their own dimension.
In Zacatecas there will always be something to marvel at. Emotions arise at each step and in each place that is visited, going from amazement to admiration and from excitement to expectation. Zacatecas is discovered in each part visited. And to know each other, there is no more credible guide than the ancient traces of the contemplated vestiges themselves, which narrate silent versions of times of bonanza, when silver flowed in abundance through the channels of the Zacatecas rivers. Hence its early recognition by the crown, which gave it the title of city and coat of arms at the end of the 16th century.
This, perhaps in gratitude also, to the fact that it was the great "Civilizadora del Norte" and for having motivated the layout of the important route of "the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro" which, together with the historic center of the city, are today "World Heritage"
