The snake in the Mesoamerican cultures is not a symbol of evil, as we use to think. It is rather the symbol of wisdom, sexual instinct, of the feminine magnetic forces and also of the eternal divine feminine principle. This is precisely the case with this engraving inside the Divine Mother has begun devouring the dead in itself, that is to say that has broken all his animal passions, their pride, lust, sloth, gluttony, envy, etc.
The Self-Intimate realization of the Being is represented when the Eagle (Third Logos) devours the Serpent (Divine Mother), but before the serpent must devour the initiate who has achieved dissolving in his human nature the thousands of errors that we all have in our interior.
