Why it’s so important to identify and understand the origin of pain?

Answers from the books of Samael Aun Weor

We should understand the PLURALITY OF THE I and don’t get divided in so many pieces when trying ot understand something.

It’s necessary to put attention in the origin of pain, in the pain itself (without dividing the attention in three parts) in a complete, integral, uni-total way, only like this, understanding the pain in a complete way, it dessapears.

THE “I” IS MULTIPLE. “I’m going to eat” says the I of digestion, “I don’t want to eat yet, I’m gong to read the newspaper” says the Intellectual I, “the heck with the newspaper (so says the I of movement), I’m going to take a walk”.

Really, we are not INDIVIDUALS, we are not yet INDIVIDUALIZED. We only are INSTINCTIVIZED.

Inside each human body live many I’s. The PLURALITY OF THE I is the cause of all of our intimate contradictions.

We want to buy a pretty house and when we already have it then we don’t like anymore, or new projects come to our mind and we say: “I’m going to sell this house and I will buy another one”.

We fight beyond words to get our home with a good woman and some children and then, we fall in love with another woman, finally the house of cards falls to the ground.

The I that today swears fidelity to one cause is displaced fo another “I” that has nothing to do with that cause and then we see that this person withdraws.

The “I” that today get fanatical for a school, tomorrow is displaced by another “I” that abhors that school.

Each I of the Legion is passing successivelylike a tape through the screen of the mind and an “I” likes what another hates.

Inside each person live many people, many “I’s”; each “I” has it’s own mind and even its own criteria.

The human being has no PERMANENT CENTER OF CONSCIENCE, a PERMANENT CENTER OF GRAVITY.

Only dissolving the “I” based on rigurous COMPREHENSION, a PERMANENT CENTER OF GRAVITY, a PERMANENT CENTER OF CONSCIENCE remains established in us.

GETTING RID OF THE “I” we become INDIVIDUALS, DISSOLVING THE “I” we acquire real INDIVIDUALITY.

When the “I” gets dissolved only remains in us the ESSENSE, the SOUL, the BEING.

IN REALITY, THE BEING IS HAPPINESS. The BEING really is beyond any pain. The dissolution of the “I” is the NIRVANA.

As long as the “I” exists the pain will exist, the “I” continues after the dead and perpetuates in our descendants, in the children of our children, in the new generations.

To be born is pain, to die is paon, life is pain, pain is the childhood, pain is the adolescence, pain is the youth, pain is the maturity, pain is the old age, everything in this world is pain.

Each time the pain hurts us relentless and avenger, we should understand it in an integral, complete and total way and this is only possible by not dividing our attention in some pieces, by paying plain attention to what’s going on.

We need to understand that the “I” is MANY, and that we should JOIN these many in plain attention with the purpose of UNDERSTANDING COMPLETELY the pain that at a given moment watchs and hurst us deadly.

If we want the SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE HUMANITY, we need to learn wisely.
