Comments about The Judas' Gospel
We, gnosis students consider that:
“All religions are stringed pearls in the golden thread of divinity”. -
We are convinced that there is an universal knowledge and this universal knowledge has been expressed through the different times, and that the content of the different sacred books, codexes, thousand-year-old graves, pyramids, etc. They have in essence the same teaching, give by the great teachers through symbols, myths, allegories, etc. This teachings relate the reality of the intern path, about what the candidate to wisdom must do in his practical life.
A common mistake we commit is to confuse the symbols with the reality, this is when the disagreements and errors begin, Let’s recall the famous human sacrifices in the Aztec Culture, symbol of the fight we must have with our animal passions, in the Golden epoch of this culture those human sacrifices did not exist, until they degenerated and fell in such regrettable mistakes which obviously caused a negative consequence to this land, because what we sow is what we harvest.
The same thing happen with the cosmic drama that the Master Jesus represented in the holly land. This is a symbolic drama, each thing he did represents a process we must live in our interior, in the path to the search of the truth.
This means that this drama has been there in all the times, otherwise we couldn’t explain so much coincidences in all the different sacred books in the world, by example, the trinity in the most of the countries of the earth, christianity: father, son and holly spirit, India: Brama, Vishnu, and Shiva, Hebrews: Keter, Chocmah and Binah, Mayan: Chipi Kakulha, Raxá Kakulha and Kakulha, etc. And so much other universal constants that the investigator can discover in the different sacred books of the world.
The universal Gnosticism students consider that the great Master Jesus, met to a group of Masters to represent this drama and that way to help all humanity with this knowledge represented in this way so that not to be forgot
Then the important thing is not confuse the drama with the actors of the same one.
Let’s compare this with Mozart’s masterpiece, the magic flute, one thing is this extraordinary symbolic opera that relates the process of intern purification and another thing are the artist who represent it. Another clear example is the famous, Queen of the night, this one symbolize the intrigue, treason, cheat, but the woman who play this part must be one of the best female sopranos because otherwise she could not perform this paper so important.
In the cosmic drama Judas represents the demon of desire that we have everyone in our interior, this means that the psychologic flaws like the desire to be big, the lust, the greed, make us to betray the intern Christ, (the truth, love, kindness, etc.) by 30 silver coins, symbol that means the trade according to the cabbala, it means we change the reality and truth by the treason and the lie.
This intern Judas is symbolized in the Egyptian mythology as the demon Apopi, cause of many problems and sadness, is also Sebal, one of the three traitors and murderers of Hiram Abiff, the constructor of the Salomon’s Temple. So this traitor doesn’t belong to the past, we carry him with us all the time.
For this point Samael Aun Weor says in his book The Great Rebellion:
"Out of doubts, every one of us carries in his mind the three traitors, Judas the demon of desire, Pilate the demon of the mind, Caiaphas the demon of bad will. These three traitors crucified the Lord of perfections in the bottom of our soul. It’s about three specific types of inhuman elements in the cosmic drama. No doubt at all, this drama has been lived in secret in the deep of the superlative conscience of the human being. Then is not the cosmic drama a property of the Great Kabir Jesus as the learned ignorants suppose. The initiated of all times, the Masters of all centuries, have been lived the cosmic drama inside themselves, here and now. But, The great Kabir Jesus had the courage to represent this intimate drama in public, in the street and day light, to open the sense of initiation for every human being, without differences of race, sex, culture or color. It is wonderful that someone teached the intimate drama in public for everyone in earth".
But another thing is the teacher who represented this part, no doubt that this part just could be performed by a very prepared teacher, who just did his part in this drama, prepared by the Master Jesus.
In the Christmas message left by the teacher Samael Aun Weor, in the year 1973-1974 says:
"Judas Iscariot is another very interesting case, this apostle really never betrayed Jesus Christ, he performed just a part, teached by his Master Jesus. The cosmic drama, life, passion and death of our lord Jesus Christ, was represented since the ancient times by all the great avatars, the great lord of Atlantis, before the second great cataclysm, performed in flesh and bone the same drama as Jesus of Nazareth".
It is doubtless, dear reader, that the discovery of the Judas Gospel, instead of inviting us to argue, should invite us to go deep in the path that the great teachers have left us since the ancient times, and this we can only achieve if we learn to manage the sense of comprehension, studying us in deep , at the same time we study this wisdom jewels that the Masters left us. Let’s recall the rolls of the death sea, the Nag Hammadi papyrus, and now the Judas Gospel, this treatise is eminent Gnostic and this speak us about the path of auto discovery, of the auto gnosis.
